What have you done to invest in you?
Investing in you doesn’t always mean finances, investing in you could be time i.e. learning a new skill, researching something you have always wanted to do. Also, figuring out who you want to spend time with i.e. your social circle, associates. If you have aspirations of becoming a 7 figure earner wanting to live in a mansion and your current circle is happy how they living and you want bit more, you need to find a new group. Nothing wrong in wanting more for YOURSELF we have to look after number one, don’t ever forget where you came from (limit association) keep in contact with them.
Many people go to university especially young people 18 – 20 years, they don’t know what they want to do, but they go anyway. They go for the social or they have an interest in a subject i.e. sociology, philosophy, art etc. Some students actual go as they want a career i.e. PE Teacher, Psychology, Social Worker etc. Real good paths, however come to the end of the course, they decide something else!! Education is key alongside knowledge, “Applied knowledge is power”. If you want to truly invest in you, learn a trade i.e. painting & decorating, brick layering, electrician, builder etc. These jobs are work hard and highly paid.
Best way to invest in yourself is through a home based/online business, why? You will get told the skills on how to survive i.e. learn how to budget your finances, get told life skills such as leadership, people skills, communications, be surrounded by like-minded individuals who have the same mission AS you; that want you to succeed. Entrepreneurship is not taught at schools, universities (in depth), a mentor is someone who has done what you want to do.
